About the Samsung ZTE Zephyr

The ZTE Zephyr is another entry level introduction from Straight Talk. This latest batch of entry level devices is meant to replace the last generation intro phones. The Zephyr falls under this category. I can’t really say that I see anything new here. The specs are fairly typical of phones in this category. What does stand out, is the 5 mega pixel camera that improves over the 3 mp weaklings that typically find a home in these devices. For example, the LG Lucky and Sunrise both have a 3 mp unit and are also in the entry level category. For this, I always like the ZTE phones because you typically get just a bit more for your money and the Zephyr is not exception there.  This is a solid device for those who are looking for a medium entry level device. Expect the Zephyr to be priced in the $100 ballpark, if not just a bit above.
